Inside Celeb Fashion: Statement Necklaces

This summer it's all about the statement necklace. We saw it during The Oscars, nearly all the best dressed actresses wore them. Here are some options that have a huge celeb following, are beautifully made and hit the right notes this season.

A line I LOVE is Psychology Jewelry. Producing gorgeous pieces that are on trend and affordable, this is definitely a designer worth looking into. I fell in love with all the pieces, but these two are my favorites:

1)The Rowen ($93.98) is a multi-layered necklace, embellished with black agate beads. So feminine and pretty, it is a great piece. Jessica Alba is a fan of this piece.

2)The Marie Antoinette ($165.99) is my favorite. Another piece from the Psychology Jewelry collection is a double layered necklace, adorned with pearls, a vintage cameo and navy blue bows is very sophisticated, yet can be worn more casually with a t-shirt. Leighton Meister has worn this piece.

3) Tom Binns is one of the masters of jewelry. An innovator within the industry, I j'adore the Rhythm of Cruelty necklace ($1,395). Quite a costly investment, but this piece will last forever. And is spot on for Fall/Winter 2009, so you can wear it through the winter too. Celebrity fans are too long to list, but Jessica Biel recently wore a Tom Binns piece on David Letterman.

4) Topshop Slinky Links Necklace($75.00) is a great buy. Heavy metal jewelry is HUGE for next season, so pick this up while you still can. EVERYONE loves a little bit of Topshop. Kate Moss even designs a collection for them - enough said!

Rosario Dawson Public Enemies Movie Premiere

Actress Rosario Dawson wears a hideous dress to the premiere of the new movie Public Enemies. Why she opted to wear this Grandma-inspired dress, I have no idea. The cute is awful and swamps her, the pattern is just wrong and her lipstick and make up leaves her looking frog-like. A very bad choice. Ill-advised and ill-fitting.

Kim Kardashian WITHOUT slutty dress!!

Is that Kim Kardashian? Kim attended a party hosted by Reebok, but opted to NOT wear her signature, figure hugging ensemble. I am not feeling this look on her. It actually made me laugh, because she looks ridiculous! What was she thinking??

Courtney Love Scary Skinny

An ultra-thin Courtney Love was spotted out-and-about in NYC. She looks like she is really wasting away! We all know she isn't the most stylish and fashionable dresser, but I do love this outfit. The leather jacket (I think Rick Owens), skinny jeans and flats combo, is really working for me. Its her figure that's the mess this time!

The jewelry is nice and simple, so compliments the outfit. She should have worn some drop earrings to finish off the look, as her ears look a little bare.

Christina Ricci Paperman LA Premiere
